PLATER

Day to day duties will include:
Manufacture and assembly of boiler and ancillary products to high quality standards, in an efficient manner whilst working to tight delivery deadlines
Manufacture and assembly of shell boilers to BS2790, and EN12953
Manufacture of boiler casings, support structures and associated parts
Insulation and cladding of boilers using light fabrication techniques

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship
ONC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Flexible approach to all aspects of fabrication and boiler assembly
Ability to follow instructions and work on own initiative
Conversant with fabrication drawings generated from AutoCAD

FITTER

Key Objectives:
To manufacture and assemble a diverse range of complex sub-assembly components for various boiler & combustion products, to a high standard and within tight time constraints.

Day to day duties will include:
To manufacture and assemble a diverse range of complex sub-assembly components for various boiler & combution products, to a high standard and within tight time constraints.
Assembly and testing of industrial valves, water gauge cocks, protector assemblies and other associated boiler components.
Assembly and testing of burners and combustion products.
Fitting & removal of valves, controls and pipework assemblies to industrial steam and hot-water boilers.
Undertake maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship
ONC Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
Good overall diversity in various fitting processes
Ability to work on own initiative
Must be conversant with fabrication drawings generated from AutoCAD.
Reasonable general fitness level required to undertake many of the processes.

SERVICE ENGINEER

Home based role with some travel in the UK involving overnight stays away from home. The job holder will be provided with a mobile telephone. Job allocation via liaison with Head Office Service Desk. Self-management required.

Main Responsibilities:
This role requires an individual with a good knowledge of industrial boiler house equipment, including:
• Shell Boilers – steam and hot water
• Oil and gas combustion systems
• Combustion setting and Water treatment
• Steam and Hot Water Systems
• De-aerators and Feed Water Pumps
• Electrical & Electronic BMS

Carry out the following tasks:
• Routine service and maintenance
• Preparation for annual insurance surveys and NDT
• Commissioning
• 24 hr breakdown cover

Skills and Qualities Desirable from Post Holder:
• Proven experience in similar role
• Ideally possess experience within the Boiler or Combustion Industry
• Educated to at least HND/Degree level in a relevant electrical or engineering discipline
• Computer literacy
• Required to respond to problems out-with normal working hours
• Possess a full clean driving licence
• Good overall level of physical diversity
• Able to work at height and in confined spaces and on own initiative
• Gas Safe Registered - Commercial
• 17th Edition Electrical Qualification or similar
• Reasonable general fitness level required to undertake required duties

North West England – Warrington area
Scotland – Perth, Dundee or Elgin
South West England – Exeter
South of England – Hertfordshire, Essex, or outskirts of London on the North, East or West
