Maintenance of Steam Systems


Who should attend?

Delegates who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of a steam and condensate systems.

What will the delegate learn?

The ultimate aim of the course is to enable the delegate to gain a greater understanding of the causes of steam and condensate failings. The delegate will then learn how to rectify these issues and operate a steam system safely and economically.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course the delegate will be able to:-
Identify steam boiler maintenance and tests
Understand the fundamental failing of steam systems
Understand how to isolate steam and condensate systems correctly and safely (as per HSG253)

Practical elements include;

Steam trap maintenance
Pressure reducing valves fault finding 


Duration: 3 days
Cost: £900 (+ VAT) per person
To be delivered in Leicester
Delegates will gain a UK Certification in Maintenance of Steam Systems
