Coded Welder

What is the role?

To produce consistent level of high quality welded joints on various products, while utilising a diverse range of welding processes & techniques. These are subjected to strenuous inspection with U/T, X-Ray & MPI techniques.
Welding of shell boilers & pressures vessels constructed to BS2790 and EN12953, using MMA, SAW & FCAW welding processes
Welding of boiler casings, support structures and associated parts using MIG process
Welding of economisers and pipework with TIG welding process

What you will bring?

Time served Coded Welder essential
Completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship
ONC Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Good overall diversity in various welding processes
Ability to work on own initiative
Conversant with fabrication drawings generated from
