Insurance Companies Require Proof of Competence

The HSE and Insurance Companies require proof of competence in the boiler house. You must ensure that those responsible for day-to-day boiler operation, or overall management, have been trained to be fully conversant with the risks, safety procedures and best practice in the boilerhouse. To assist in this requirement Cochran are offering 2 courses at our Training Centre in the spring.
Boiler Operative Accreditation Scheme (BOAS - Steam & Hot Water)
The course is designed to provide knowledge of current legislative and environmental requirements. The Cochran course consists of four days of lectures and an exam covering the material from the lectures. Upon passing delegates will receive the qualification of Certified Industrial Boiler Operative with the designation Cert IBO. The Certificate is valid for 5 years, after which the course must be taken again to retain the qualification.
When: 20th – 24th March 2017 for the Steam Course, or,
When: 3rd - 6th April 2017 for the Hot Water Course
