BG04 Water Treatment Course

Are you missing vital water treatment knowledge?

This two day training course covers in detail, water treatment of steam boilers & generators.  The water treatment you need to know. The testing you need to do.  Steam boiler water treatment testing is the only way of knowing what’s going on inside your steam system is by testing its water and prevent, scale, corrosion and condensate water problems.

Scale

Scale formation can have a major impact on energy bills, with as little as 1mm reducing heat transfer by over 10%

Imagine what this scale deposit was adding to the fuel bill

Monitoring your treated water is paramount

Corrosion

Reducing plant life and sometimes leading to complete failure, corrosion can cost thousands in lost production time

Are you minimising the risk of this in your system?

Condensate water

An often over looked area, good quality condensate can save you money.

Analysing condensate can also point to water treatment or operational and steam system problems in the boiler

Do you routinely test your condensate?

Who is this course aimed at?

People who are BOAS trained

This course is a “bolt-on” adding substantially to the water treatment aspects only briefly covered by BOAS

People who wish to learn the principles behind correct water treatment of steam boilers, generators

Owners, Managers, Engineers, Operators

If you have an active interest in:

Reducing or controlling costs

Minimising plant down time

Complying with the training requirements PUWER
