Cochran & HKCG Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

Cochran
Ltd, have recently signed a three year partnership with Hong Kong and
China Gas Ltd (Towngas) to upgrade industrial systems across China to
make them more environmentally friendly. The signing ceremony took place
in Beijing in the presence of First Minister of Scotland, the Right
Honourable Alex Salmond MSP.

The agreement with Hong Kong and China
Gas Company (HKCG) is an initial three year Strategic Partnership
Agreement during which the HKCG and Cochran will work together to
promote and install efficient industrial gas boiler and combustion
technology to replace outdated less environmentally friendly systems.
Cochran will provide the expertise, training and technology, HKCG the
infrastructure, support and routes to market through their 100+ joint
ventures.
Mr
Salmond said, “China is a market that is growing in importance for
Scottish firms across a range of sectors, and investors in the Chinese
market are clearly eager to employ the significant specialist
engineering expertise that Scottish businesses can offer. I am
confident this deal is the start of an exciting period for Cochran as
they expand further into intternational markets."
