Cochran launch new range of Steam Heat Recovery Boilers

Cochran have recently designed and launched a range of steam heat recovery boilers. This range of single pass boilers has been designed to be compatible with all commercially available gas engines from 400kW to 4300 kW. The boiler can be supplied as a complete package for reduced site installation time and cost. The boiler is fully lagged, clad and supplied fitted with valves, feed water system and controls. Options are available for an integral economiser, bypass ducting and dampers interfaced with the engine.

Chris Jessop, Product Sales Manager stated “We are responding to the market need; previously we would engineer a tailor-made solution for each enquiry which took time and increased costs. Of course we are still more than able and willing to design bespoke solutions when required but this new range enables us to offer an immediate response with full technical data”

Chris continues, “Many other manufacturers’ boilers are supplied as a bare shell, often leaving the installer an unexpected cost to lag, clad and fit out the boiler. We have taken the view that offering our customers a complete fitted out package will minimise site installation requirements, safety risks and will ultimately be more cost effective for the installer”
