Cochran launch latest Biomass Boiler offering

Total Biomass Boiler Solutions

There have been many companies bringing biomass products to the market in recent years, however many of these bring little with them in the way of ongoing system support and especially integration with conventional fired industrial boiler plant.  A number of systems installed have been giving biomass a bad name as unreliable technology.

Cochran is building on its experience in the installation of turnkey products to develop a total biomass boiler house solution. Working with established specialists in the industrial scale of biomass, Cochran has developed an offering that covers a full biomass solution.

In an industrial setting, a biomass solution is best suited to a steady base load.  Where the load is variable and peaky - the biomass boiler can supply the base load and Cochran will integrate it with back-up gas/oil fired boilers to cater for fluctuations and downtime.

The boiler systems offered by Cochran can be eligible for the UK Government Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. A requirement for RHI is to demonstrate ongoing fuel supply contracts are in place. As part of the Cochran package we have teamed up with a major UK supplier to assist our customers to get arrangements in place for supply of reliable quality, cost effective wood chip fuel.

We can integrate these with existing or new conventional boilers to provide a seamless solution".
