Cochran Host a Delegation of Engineers

Cochran recently played host to a delegation of engineers from Shanghai Tobacco Group. They were visiting Annan to inspect the boilers being built for their new factory, currently under construction, as part of their business expansion.

This major order for Cochran consists of four 20 t/h 16 bar Twin Furnace Thermax boilers, each fitted with Cochran Equinox burners with a full package of control and monitoring and a two stage condensing economiser system to maximise boiler efficiency. The boilers will be shipped in September 2016.

Mr Zheng Jie, the head of the delegation, expressed his satisfaction with what they saw; as did Mr Lin, lead inspector for Shanghai Labour Bureau, who also visited to inspect. Mr Lin is responsible for approving the final installation of the boilers at site. 

Head of Business Development, David Branch, commented “In 2010 we supplied a 30 t/h boiler to their existing factory and later upgraded the combustion and controls on two other existing 20 t/h boilers. These boilers are still supported by our local office and we were pleased that Cochran’s proven reliability, support and value for money meant we were selected as Shanghai Tobacco’s partners for their continued growth”
