Cochran, COVID 19 and Site Works

Cochran remains committed to supporting our Customers at the highest possible level that the current circumstance permit. 

As a responsible employer we are doing everything we can to keep our staff and service engineers safe and to comply with the UK Government requirement of only travelling where and when absolutely necessary and to ensure we continue to support all businesses in maintaining and keeping their plant safe, and to keep the essential parts of the UK infrastructure operational.

For all customers who currently have works scheduled with our business due to take place throughout the duration of the imposed restrictions, we are seeking your confirmation that these activities are to proceed on the dates as scheduled. 

We would also recommend you confirm with any essential third parties due to attend as they may have a different interpretation of essential works (Insurance inspectors, other parties).

Where notice of postponement is not provided within 48 hours of due attendance, cancellation charges may apply for any abortive visit.

In support of these site activities, we would also request that you provide a letter headed document, identifying yourselves as being within one of the critical sectors, which also names Cochran Services Ltd as providing vital goods and/or services to your business, with the effect the employees of Cochran Services are needed to travel to your site(s).

As a direct consequence of these latest restrictions, we may also require your assistance to secure local accommodation where required. Unfortunately if we cannot ensure the welfare of our Engineers, we will regrettably be unable to attend. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update our customers of any further changes, however if you require clarification on any of the above please contact us as soon as possible.  Letter attached.
