Cochran Welcome Students

Cochran were delighted to have a group of students from Lockerbie Academy on site for a visit. During their time with us, the students got tours of the factory to see what we do and how our products are made. The group showed great enthusiasm toward engineering and asked lots of questions about career pathways, apprenticeships in trades and design.

After meeting with a few members of our team, Factory Manager James Johnstone, Engineering Manager Jamie Donaldson, Product Sales Manager Eric Daglish and Production Services Manager Stewart Smith they have all agreed, the future of engineering is looking bright!

Allan Shaw, Cochran, Product and Service Delivery Manager said "Its great to see young people interested in Engineering. For the right people there is a route through Apprenticeship towards a degree which is a viable alternative to going straight to University".
